Dear Mr. Romano,

Congratulations! Your application for doing volunteer work at the Evergreen Children’s Hospital was received, and you are being given a position in our daycare program. However, before you can begin, you have to provide some additional documents for security issues.

You are required to provide a medical record for the last 5 years (this can be retrieved from your personal doctor) and a letter from your school verifying that you are currently attending classes there. Around Nashville – Business Spotlight

July 19

This week’s business spotlight is on Bell Laundro and its owner, Ms. Monica Bell. For those who don’t know, Bell Laundro is a one-stop place that is a combination of a launderette, a café, and a bookstore and is based on Jackson Street. This new type of self-service laundry is one of the most successful independent businesses in Nashville today. —[1]—.

At first, Bell Laundro was not as successful as it currently is. —[2]—. However, Ms. Bell was not willing to give up on her business.

—[3]—. After months of planning, she renovated a part of her laundry into a café-like lounge. —[4]—. In this waiting area, customers can enjoy a cup of coffee and read books while their clothes are being washed and dried.

The customers at Bell Laundro highly value the convenience and high-quality service Bell Laundro provides. Many residents in the area are students at Welch College, who need to do the laundry and buy books for their classes; they know Bell Laundro is perfect to take care of both tasks at the same time.

Ms. Bell was asked by many local colleges to provide tips and advice for students who plan on opening a new business. As a young entrepreneur herself, she seems very excited to lead her class, entitled “Difficulty into Opportunity.”

I have worked at several music academies as a piano instructor in the past. Seeing children develop a passion for music is my main motive and inspiration.

I am sorry I had to leave the conference so early yesterday. As I mentioned, I am considering applying for employment at Ranian Electronics, and I would appreciate it if you could share your experience and thoughts about the firm as someone who is presently working for it.

I currently work for Harrell, Inc. where there are not many chances to cooperate or communicate with my colleagues. Going on a lot of business trips overseas wears me out as well.

I saw an article entitled The Work Environment at Ranian that was written by your public relations manager and posted on your company’s Web site. The article you mentioned, the one written by Ms. Mary Witt, correctly describes the workplace at Ranian. We have many group assignments that require all members to share their ideas and thoughts with one another. In daily meetings, anyone can suggest a new strategy or insight regardless of rank or title. We rarely go on business trips, which should be a positive factor for you. Yesterday, my son and I visited the Bernardo Mall and had a meal at Chips and Tacos, the restaurant located next to the mall. Upon leaving the mall, I was charged a fee of $5.73 for parking. I had not expected this as I think I had been informed that those who spend more than $20 will be exempt from paying the parking fee. Even though I did not buy anything at the mall, I spent far more than $30 at the restaurant. I was too busy to explain everything to the employee at Gate #5 at the time, but I hope I can be refunded for this error.
